Mulberry Leaf:
Benefits: Supports blood sugar balance, improves metabolism, and is rich in antioxidants.
Detox Support: Contains chlorogenic acid which may help in liver detoxification.
Senna:
Primary Use: Natural laxative.
Benefits: Stimulates bowel movements by irritating the colon lining slightly.
Note: Best used short-term due to its strong laxative effect.
Cassia Seed:
Benefits: Traditionally used in Chinese medicine for liver detox, improving digestion, and relieving constipation.
Additional Perks: May help with eye fatigue and support cholesterol regulation.
Fennel:
Benefits: Relieves bloating, gas, and indigestion.
Detox Support: Mild diuretic effect helps flush toxins.
Psyllium:
Benefits: Natural fiber that helps bulk up stool and improve bowel regularity.
Detox Role: Aids in colon cleansing by sweeping the intestinal tract.
Mate (Yerba Mate):
Benefits: Provides gentle energy (contains caffeine), supports metabolism, and is rich in antioxidants.
Digestive Aid: Traditionally used to aid digestion and suppress appetite.
Buckthorn: Mild laxative, liver-stimulating, and colon-cleansing.
Elderflower:
Benefits: Promotes sweating and urination (diuretic), supports immune health, and helps with colds/flus.
Detox Support: Encourages toxin elimination through the skin and kidneys.
When to drink and how often
When to drink and how often
Preparation: 1 teaspoons of the mixture are placed in 500 ml of boiling water and boiled for 5 - 8 minutes, after cooling strain.
Serving: Take 1 cup of the infusion/tea 3 times a day before meal.
Course: It is taken 4 times a year, for at least 10 days each season.

Contraindications
Stay Hydrated: Especially when herbs like senna or psyllium are involved, water intake is important.
Caution: Avoid long-term use of senna and buckthorn to prevent dependency or irritation. Not recommended during pregnancy or for individuals with chronic digestive conditions unless supervised by a health professional.

Recommended Infusion Guide

Quantity
It is quite strong and you really only need a tiny pinch for a robust flavour. We recommend 1 heaped teaspoon per 500ml of water.

For the optimum infusion use 100°C water.
